Eddingtons Wanna Be a Whopper

This is my opinion and NOT FACT.  Only a few know for sure, But- I believe he is the result of breeding
an Dogue de Bordeaux and an American Bulldog or
Olde English Bulldogge.

The genetic effects of this cross are evident today in some of the Whopper lines that are throwing
distinctly Dogue De Bordeaux red, with the shorter nose, loose skins and heavy jowls.  APBT's were
not and should not be bred for size. They are athletes not statues.

I chose to put this on my website,
because I was uneducated about the
TRUE American Pit Bull Terrier when I
purchased Kochino. Kochino is
Bighead/Whopper bred. And only
after I educated myself and became
associated with many in the weight
pull world that I learned of the stories
behind Whoppers breeding. Just look
at my museum pages, where TRUE
pit style, American Pit Bull Terriers
are pictured,   then YOU BE THE
JUDGE. It takes years to create a line
of dog, yet this change took place in
ONE breeding. Bobby Hall spent years
of breeding to create the look and
ability of the Bullyson and Hall lines.
And when keeping with his line it
replicates itself over and over.

This is to educate the public, not
belittle or bash a bloodline. For those
who take offense I make no
apologies.  Due to my outwardness
with this statement MANY in the
weightpull world  have bashed us.
Like I said in the statement above,
you be the judge. And know that
many will have nothing good to say
about us, our dogs or kennels. If you
have any questions about the stories
that have circulated about this line

Defintions

Game Bred- 'game' is the aggressive nature of an animal toward other animals. There are 'game' bred dogs that are not
game. As told to me by one of the best in the [] sport, A good dog is where you find it, and you're lucky to get one true to
game pup in a litter.

Drive- (whether it's play or prey drive) active determination of an animal to chase down a toy or any other object on
command. Active determination of an animal to perform any command or job without hesitation.

Play drive is what you look for in a puppy. Will he chase your feet or a toy waved in front of him. If the puppy just lays
there and shows no desire, that is what it will grow up to be. An animal that is going to be used as a working dog, MUST
show drive at a young age, it is not something that can be taught.
